How to Use It

Just type // in any input field or text area to trigger the AI Writing Assistant. A dropdown menu will appear, allowing you to type your prompt or select from suggested templates. It works on most websites — like Gmail, Notion, Twitter, or LinkedIn.

Type //Write an email apologizing for a delay.

The dropdown provides a convenient interface to:

  • Type custom prompts for the AI
  • Select from pre-made templates
  • Access your recent prompts

Pin the Extension (Optional but Recommended)

  • Click the puzzle icon in the Chrome toolbar (top right).
  • Find AI Writing Assistant in the list.
  • Click the pin icon 📌 next to it.

Pinning helps you access settings or updates, but it's not required to use the shortcut.
